The San Diego Shell Club was founded in 1961 as a non-profit organization for educational and scientific purposes. More particularly to enjoy and promote the study and conservation of Mollusca, and associated marine life through lectures, club meetings and field trips. Our membership is diverse and includes beginning collectors, amateurs, scientists, divers, underwater photographers and dealers.
